I, too, am learning Brazilian Embroidery. One of the things I am getting to understand is that many of the stitches are those used in TAST as well as other embroidery stitches. I think (but am not positive) that the main difference is the thread used in the BE as compared to other embroidery. There are many books that are helpful. Good luck with it. I am really addicted to it now and started making Christmas stockings in crazy quilt style and with BE. Don't be afraid...looking at your beautiful work, it is obvious that you are a very talented woman. Lori

sorry deepa, I have to start it, but a little bit scared to start with, thinking of doing it during the summer holidays :).
